Guedes has been sidelined for 26.1 percent of his time at Valencia
Goncalo Guedes has missed six of of the 23 months he has spent at Valencia since joining the club in August 2017.
Up until December 28, the Portuguese had been sidelined for a total of 181 days due to a series of injuries, which is made all the more worrisome when you consider that he has been at Los Che for 694 days.
To put it in percentage terms, Guedes has been unavailable 26.1 percent of the time since moving from Paris Saint-Germain.
The 23-year-old hasn’t featured since October 2 after picking up an ankle injury and, although the rest of his teammates return to training on December 29, he has yet to fully recover.
Guedes underwent an operation in the 2017/18 season and he put together several impressive performances before November, when he broke his leg.
His last campaign was also complicated and although he recovered from a hip setback and returned to action on February, he couldn’t manage to recover his form until the end of the season.
